Saying goodbye to Monica
Today was such a sad day for us. We had to say goodbye to our dear friend, Monica, who has been Brynlyn's physical therapist since she was 6 months old. So for basically the past 2 years, we have seen Monica once per week for an hour as she has come over to work with Brynlyn to get her to where she needs to be physically. Brynlyn has done so well and has come so far with Monica's help. We are sooo grateful for everything that Monica did for us during these past few years. She was here helping Brynlyn get better, but in the meanwhile she became a dear friend and we're going to miss her!
Good luck with your sweet baby boy, Monica!!! Thank you for everything you did for us and for Brynlyn. You are awesome!

She eats ice cream!
Here's the girl that is picky over food. She questions WHERE, WHAT, HOW, WHEN, and WHY when it comes to eating.
But...
She eats ice cream. Anywhere...Anyhow...Anytime...for Any reason!

Lauryn and Valerie
Lauryn's good friend Valerie came over to play today. They are in the same school class and the same dance class together. They are CRAZY together (have you seen the movie Gremlins??? ha ha)
But...they are such good buddies and we are lucky to have Val so close to us so she and Lauryn can play all the time together.

Landmark Golf Tournament
The company Mike works for, Landmark, sponsored a hole at a golf tournament in early March. We all wore bright green matching shirts and we got to hang out at the tee and chat it up with the golfers as they came by. It was fun to be there with the gang that Mike works with and to spend some time with Mike. And don't we look so cute in our lime green matchy-matchy shirts???

The "Real" Rudy Ruettiger
Mike and some co-workers had a chance to go to a luncheon and hear guest speaker Rudy Ruettiger speak. He is the "real" Rudy from the movie "Rudy" about the Notre Dame football player. Mike said he did a great job and they thoroughly enjoyed meeting him.

Me, Barbie, and a bunch of cousins at the top of the slide
Jackson and Brynlyn at snack time
We went to Bounce Jungle for Jackson's 2nd birthday party and it was a real party for sure! Brynlyn thought she was in hog heaven for sure and loved playing in the bounce tubes, slides, and all the fun things to do there. Thanks for inviting us to your great party guys! We loved it!

Thoroughly Modern Millie
For my 35th birthday, we went to see the play "Thoroughly Modern Millie" by Gilbert Fine Arts Youth Theater. Mike's cousins were in the play so we thought it would be fun to see them perform. They did such a great job and the entire play was so well done. We were very impressed and we even got a chance to have a photo op with some of the cast after the play. What a great play! We can't wait to see what's next.

Jackson came to stay one day...
We love it whenever Jackson comes over to play. He and Brynlyn have the best time together and they LOVE seeing each other. They follow each other around all over the place and they always have fun adventures together. We love you Jackson! You're awesome!

Speech Therapy
This is a part of our weekly routine. We get to have our dear friend and therapist come over to do some speech therapy with Brynlyn. We like to practice on different kinds of food and show off what we have been working on for the past week. She always has great tips and pointers to give me so show me more effective ways of getting Brynlyn to eat, etc. We always enjoy our time with her and she was done SO MUCH to help Brynlyn to learn to eat. It's a slow process, but we're willing to be patient and know that we're running a marathon and not a sprint. We sure appreciate her for everything she does for us!

Ashlyn's Zombie Hip-Hop Dance
Ashlyn has this fun hip-hop dance instructor who likes to make dance interesting. So every now and then, they come home with faces painted and they've just danced in character. Ashlyn was a dalmation puppy tonight. You can see that Brynlyn wants nothing to do with this scene at all! Ha!
