The Maui Ocean Center and Aquarium was really neat. Some of our favorite things were the "feeding times." Check out the feeding of the turtles. You can see in the 2nd picture that turtle is taking a big chunk out of a lettuce leaf. And then we went inside to see the big aquarium. It was feeding time for the fish and sharks. Two scuba divers actually get into the aquarium and feed them. Then one of the divers comes over and hooks on a microphone and is able to talk to the narrator on the other side of the glass inside the aquarium. We had the chance to ask questions and learn quite a bit about marine life. It was so cool how this diver brought this stingray right up to the window and it "smiled" at us. Yikes...it's huge! I'm so glad I'm on the other side of the glass. The kids loved this museum and it was well worth the stop for them.
