The Polar Express train

We loved our adventure in Williams, AZ at the Polar Express train. This is one of our most favorite winter traditions.

The Polar Express Train

Our family in the lodge before boarding the train, notice how Brynlyn is sacked out asleep. She was so tired.

In November, we went up to Williams, AZ to go on the Polar Express train. The Posvars went with us which made it that much more fun. It was their first time going on the train, so we were excited to be there with them. We had such a great time and the train did not disappoint us again. This was our 4th year and we love this tradition. We are already looking forward to going back next year!

When Jackson came to play...

Jackson came to stay over one night in November when his parents went overnight to celebrate their wedding anniversary. We always have so much fun when he's here and Brynlyn absolutely loves it. They follow each other around and play all day. They are truly buddies. In these pictures they are all clean and fresh from the tub with new jammies on and all ready for bed. They're enjoying their sippy cups before bed. The funniest thing is that Brynlyn doesn't consistently drink out of a sippy except when Jackson is around. Then all of a sudden she wants to drink (which is great!) Jackson, we need to keep you around some more so you can teach Brynlyn new fun things like eating and drinking. =)

I love his beautiful blue eyes!!!

Brynlyn "drinking" from her sippy. Hopefully by imitating it, she'll get the real thing down!

So cozy...
Life just doesn't get any better than this, does it Brynlyn!?

Breathing treatments

Mike taught Brynlyn how to hold the tube for her own breathing treatments. What's so amazing is that she does it! She needs to be entertained by one of her favorite shows, like Dora or Diego. But if her attention is fixed on that, she'll hold onto her own tubing for the treatment. This day she was just a little congested and we take no chances with this one. So a treatment for her and she was much better by the next day. Way to go Bryn!

Girls lunch out

After the play we took the kids to McDonald's so they could play in the play area.
Here we are with Great-Grandma Ann and Grandma Sugar. Love these generation pictures!

Cinderella play

We went to the Cinderella play at the Hale Theater. It was so much fun with great interaction between the actors and the audience. The girls absolutely loved it and we're looking forward to going to their next production in March of Sleeping Beauty!

The birthday girls all got to come up before the play started and make a wish in the wishing well.

Me and Joy Currie, who was acting in the play. Joy was our realtor who sold our house in Gilbert. What a small world! I hadn't seen her in over 6 years. It was fun to catch up with her.

Ashlyn's 11th Birthday Party

For Ashlyn's 11th birthday party, we took a bunch of her friends over to Discovery Park to play and eat Subway (Ashlyn's favorite.) They had 1/2 day from school so it worked out perfectly. I picked them all up, went by Subway and grabbed a party sub, and off we went. Grandma Sugar came with us to help out and hang out with us, which was fun to have her there.

The girls had a blast eating, running around the park, eating, playing on the rocks, eating, more running, and even more eating......we convinced them to take some pictures on the rocks which turned out great.

Ashlyn is so lucky to have such wonderful friends. Thanks for making the party so great, girls!
