We had a great first day in NYC! We went to see the Statue of Liberty on Liberty Island, walked through Battery Park, found the Trinity Church at Wall and Broadway (from "National Treasure" movie), walked through Wall Street, observed Ground Zero, walked through the beautiful memorials at St. Paul's Church across from Ground Zero, walked through City Hall Park and saw the beautiful waterfall, and also observed the stunning artwork called "It Standing" and "It Sitting", then met up with Rob and Emily at Lombardi's Pizza in Little Italy (yummy pizza), then home with our Junior's Cheesecake to pig out on delicious cheesecake.
