My Dad was released on Sunday after serving almost 10 years as Stake President for the Boulder Creek Stake in Gilbert/Mesa area. This has been so bitter sweet for my parents as they have loved serving their stake. This will be a void in their life, but they are looking forward to the new adventures that this will bring. Dad, we are so proud of you and so grateful to be in your family. Your dedication to the church, service in callings, and love of this gospel cannot be beat, and we are so grateful for the wonderful example that you have shown and continue to show to us. We are looking forward to sharing your new adventures with you! We love you!
This picture is of Dad's stake presidency along with Elder Wickman and Elder Funk (both sitting), from the Quorum of the Seventy, who presided and conducted the meeting.
