We took a drive up by Santa Barbara and found this national park called Chumash Painted Caves. It was a cool drive, small, tiny, windy roads all the way up. Not for the squeamish stomach, for sure. It was interesting, at best, but one of our most memorable moments on our trip. Tanya and I decided that this is something our parents would have dragged us to when we were younger. They just loved this kind of stuff. I guess it's true that we really do eventually turn into our parents. ha ha It was truly an adventure and we're glad we went in search of these caves because it was a super fun day. Thanks Uncle Bryce!

Have you ever thought about how if this were done NOW, it would be called grafitti, and not celebrated as historical art? ;)
