This is the apartment building in Long Island City where Rob and Emily lived. They were on the 24th floor with a great view of the city and of the Empire State Building. It became our home away from home for a couple of trips. Thanks again guys for letting us stay with you! We had a blast!
She crashed in the cab on the way to JFK. She pretty much slept the whole flight home also. She was completely worn out.
Our final meal in Times Square. We grabbed some pizza slices. We actually found Hawaiian Pizza which is almost impossible to find in NYC. Ashlyn was thrilled so we had to indulge, of course.
Subway performer/dancers. Mike loves the subway performers. He could sit and watch them for hours. These guys were dancing to good ol' Michael Jackson tunes. Mike was in heaven!
Free donuts and Hot Chocolate at Dunkin Donuts. This is so funny. So Ashlyn stops to buy some hot cocoa at Dunkin Donuts in Rockefeller Plaza, of all places. They hand her this cup and Mike takes a drink and it's nasty! It's only hot water. They forgot to add anything in. So he takes it back and they give him more hot chocolate and some free donuts. Nice!
