Statue of Liberty/Battery Park

We took a little trip down to Battery Park to go to Liberty Island and Ellis Island. It's always so inspiring to see the Statue. She's so beautiful and is such a beautiful symbol of freedom.

This statue stood in the courtyard at one of the Twin Towers. It stays in Battery Park today as a symbol of freedom and hope. The flame above is always burning.

Mike's umbrella of choice. We could always find him in the crowd!

Ashlyn at the Statue. Right as I was taking this picture, a bird flew into the picture. This is so funny because Ashlyn is infatuated with birds!
