Sunday, day 4: Church, Hula Pie

Hula Pie is one of our favorite treats when we come to Hawaii. It is absolute perfection with macadamia nut ice cream at the base, drizzled with chocolate sauce and macadamia nuts with whipped cream on top and it covers almost an entire plate, so it's big enough to share with a friend...or two...or three...or four...or five... YUMMMM!!!!

We love going to church to the Lahaina 1st Ward. The building is really close to our hotel and it's the ward we've been to 3 times now. Atleast half of the building is visitors (or so it seems) and it's always fun to say hi to people we've seen around on the island (or on our airplane over.) It's such a great feeling to know that the church is true and consistent wherever you are at in the world.

These pictures were taken back at our hotel after church. The camera was on the wrong setting, but I loved how these pictures turned out with kind of a "soft focus" look to them.
